Concepts
This chapter explains the concepts of the BlackPearl system advanced bucket management.
It is important to understand the information in this chapter before you begin designing the
storage architecture of the BlackPearl system.
IMPORTANT
It is difficult and time consuming to change a data policy once the system writes
data to a bucket using the data policy. Make sure that you understand the
concepts in this chapter and have thoughtfully planned your data policies
before you start using the BlackPearl system to store data.
