Configure Network Connections and Settings
To remove an existing static address, click the

IPv4 Default Gateway

Notes:
• If you selected DHCP in
, this option is unavailable.
• The gateway entered for the last configured IPv4 connection sets the default
gateway for the BlackPearl system.

If applicable, enter the
IPv6 Default Gateway
.
Notes:
• The gateway entered for the last configured IPv6 connection sets the default
gateway for the BlackPearl system.
Note:
The IPv6 Gateway does not need to be configured when the BlackPearl system is
connected to a SLACC network.
7.
Change the
MTU
(Maximum Transmission Unit) value, if desired. If you set the MTU
value to something other than 1500, ensure that your switch configuration supports
larger MTU settings, as well as all the hosts on the network.

Edit a Static Route
1.
From the menu bar, select
Configuration > Network
, or select the Network pane from the
Dashboard screen. The Network screen displays (see
).
2.
Double-click the static route you want to edit. The Static Route dialog box displays.

If desired, in the
Destination
field, edit the network address that you want to access
through the data connection.
4.
If desired, edit the
Gateway
of the data connection used to communicate with the
isolated network.
5.
Click
Create
.
