Eject Tapes
Edit Tape Eject Information
If desired, you can enter information about the eject location of a tape cartridge and assign it
a label before you eject the tape from the system. You are also asked to enter this
information when you eject a tape.
1.
Select
Status > Tape Management
to display the Tape Management screen (see
).
2.
Select the tape you want to eject, and then select
Action > Edit
. The Edit Tape dialog box
displays.

Enter information in the
Eject Label
and
Eject Location
fields. This information is stored
on the BlackPearl database and is visible when re-importing the tape into a BlackPearl
system.
4.
Click
Save
.
