• PLAY
When illuminated (GREEN), indicates the Media
Block is currently in PLAY mode.
• ALARM
When illuminated (RED), indicates there is a
problem with the Media Block operation. If during,
the start up process the RAID encounters a problem,
this indicator will be illuminated.
To clear the Alarm indication, tap
Clear Alarm
.
Note:
Currently, the Media Block can be either Playing,
i.e., decoding and sending Content Elements to the
projector, or it can be Ingesting, i.e., moving a DCP and the
described Content Elements from an external storage
device into the integrated Media Block storage.
Process/Component
Included in the MEDIA BLOCK System group are three
indicators:
• Video
Indicates the status or “health” of the video signal
processing.
• Audio
Indicates the status or “health” of the audio signal
processing.
• Process
Indicates the status or “health” of the signal
(image/sound essence) processing.
• Battery
Indicates the status or “health” of the internal
batteries

that provides power to sustain Media
Block settings.
Memory
• DIMM 1
Indicates the status or “health” of the #1 Dual Inline
Memory Module (DIMM) installed in the Media
Block.
• DIMM 2
Indicates the status or “health” of the #2 Dual Inline
Memory Module (DIMM) installed in the Media
Block.
Power Supplies
Two Power Sources can be present in the Media Block.
• Power Source 1
Indicates the status or “health” of the #1 Power
Supply installed in the Media Block.
• Power Source 2

Indicates the status or “health” of the #2 Power
Supply installed in the Media Block.
Security
Two security areas are monitored. One area deals with
security of the enclosure and control of the decrypting
process. The second area deals with processing of the
decrypted content and insertion of a digital fingerprint into
the video picture which can be used to trace the source of
pirate content taken with a video camera from the screen
presentation.
• Security
Indicates the status or “health” of the Media Block
security system and content key processing.
• Video/Audio Forensic Mark
Indicates the status or “health” of the image
fingerprint (Forensic Marking) processing.
RAID Status
The Sony Screen
Management System
includes the Sony
LMT-300 Media Block
where the RAID storage
system is an integral part
of the Media Block.
The high level of
integration in the
LMT-300 allows for
closer monitoring of the
RAID storage. To view
RAID status, tap
Menu
,
tap
Status
and then tap
RAID.
The RAID pane
appears containing Status indicators (icons) for the RAID
Storage and the individual Hard Disk Drives (HDD) in the
RAID appears.
