5-1-2. Checking the Film Control Motor
The operation checks of the following DC motor and sensor are performed by inputting commands.
Checking procedure
1.
Connect the PC to this unit (CN101/SV-191 board) with the PC connection cable (9 pin-ELCO).
2.
Turn on the power of this unit.
3.
Start the HyperTerminal (terminal emulation software) and input “FILM.”
“TEST MODE” will be displayed and the test mode of servo system is set.
4.
Input the following commands and check the operation of the motor.

Releases the brake of the S reel assembly
S BRAKE ON
Applies the brake of the S reel assembly
T brake
T BRAKE OFF
Releases the brake of the T reel assembly
T BRAKE ON
Applies the brake of the T reel assembly

: When the sensor detects the completion of operation, “OK” will be displayed on the PC screen.
5.
To exit the test mode, input “NORMAL.”
