3-4-4. Replacing the IR/UV Cut Filter

Preparation

Turn off the AC power supply which supplies the power to

the FVS-1000.

To prevent an electric shock, be sure to turn off the power

of the AC power supply which supplies the power to the

FVS-1000 before removing.

Removal

1. Removing the gate base assembly

Remove the gate base assembly. (Refer to Section 3-2-1.)

2. Pulling out the lamp house assembly

Loosen the four screws (with stopper) and pull out the

lamp house assembly. (Refer to Section 3-2-3.)

3. Removing the IR/UV cut filter

(1) Loosen the three screws (with stopper), and remove

the lamp house cover. (Refer to Section 3-4-1.)

(2) Remove the two screws, and remove the filter retainer.

(Refer to Section 3-3-3.)

(3) Remove one screw, and remove the filter retainer (B).

(4) Loosen the four screws securing the filter retainers by

one to two turns.

(5) Pull out the IR/UV cut filter.

Installation

4. Installing the IR/UV cut filter

(1) Install a new IR/UV cut filter.

[Reference]

The characteristics on both sides of the filter are the

same.

(2) Tighten the four screws securing the filter retainer.

(3) Install the filter retainer (B) with one screw.

(4) Install the filter retainer with two screws.

(Refer to Section 3-3-3.)

(5) Install the lamp house cover. (Refer to Section 3-4-1.)

5. Securing the lamp house assembly

Secure the lamp house assembly to the base plate.

(Refer to Section 3-2-3.)

6. Installing the gate base assembly

Install the gate base assembly. (Refer to Section 3-2-1.)
