7. Adjusting the pad roller clearance

(1) Rotate the pad roller shaft in the arrow direction using

the flatblade screwdriver. Then temporarily tighten the

setscrews with all pad rollers touching the roller

clearance adjustment tool (film).

(2) Rotate the pad driving lever using the flatblade

screwdriver and set the unloading state.

(3) Remove the pad roller clearance adjustment tool

installed in step 4.

(4) Remove the pad assembly once, and tighten the

setscrews securing the pad roller shafts (four each on S

side and T side).

8. Checking the film running

(1) Install the pad assembly to the base plate.

(2) Turn on the power of the unit.

(3) Install the test film for running check to the S reel

table, and hook it to the T reel table along the running

path.

(4) Run the film in the PLAY mode, and check the film

does not dislocate from the sprocket gear.

If the film dislocates from the sprocket gear, remove

the pad assembly, and repeat from steps 4 through 7.

(5) Install the drive cover (3) removed in step (1) of 6.
