9.5 Installing the sonnenProtect
• The sonnenProtect can be mounted to the left or right of the storage system or exten-
sion cabinet (if any).
Requirements for the installation location

Observe the required ambient conditions (see Technical data [P. 89]).
Observing minimum and maximum distances
„
Install the sonnenProtect at the same level as the top edge of the storage system, if
possible.

Observe the minimum distances to the storage system.
„
Ensure that there is not too great a distance between the sonnenProtect and storage
system so that the length of the pre-mounted cables is sufficient (approx. 5 m). In do-
ing so, also observe the required cable lengths for routing the cables in a cable duct.
Removing the cover
„
Remove the cover of the sonnenProtect.
Drilling the holes
„
Mark out the four holes on the back of the sonnenProtect on the wall.
