Resolving audio issues

I M P O R T A N T
Ensure you can see your computer’s desktop and have both touch control and digital ink before
before using this table. If not, resolve those issues before completing the following steps in the
table below.
Symptom Causes Solution
Sound doesn’t play
when you play a
sound file.
Your computer is muted. Turn off the mute setting.
Your computer’s volume is too low. Turn up the volume on your
computer.
Your interactive display is muted. Turn off the mute setting using
the remote control or the control
panel.
Your interactive display’s volume is
too low.
Use the remote to turn up the
volume on your interactive
display.
OR
Use the volume control on the
front control panel.
Your computer uses Mac operating
system software and is not set to
Audio USB output.
Set your computer’s audio output
to USB. For more information,
see page 50.
Resolving remote control issues
Your remote control provides control of your interactive display from 23' (7 m) of the front control
panel of your interactive display.
Symptom Causes Solution
The remote control
behaves unexpectedly.
The front control panel
power button light is
off. Your interactive display isn’t
receiving power. Ensure your interactive display is
plugged in and ensure the master
power switch on the bottom terminal
panel is in the ON position. For more
information, see page 3.
Your remote control
behaves unexpectedly.
You are outside the range of
the infrared remote control
sensor.
Move to within 23' (7 m) and a 30º arc
of your infrared remote control sensor.
