Interface Mode
Interface Mode is used for displaying the assignment of the control and status words in line
with other drive systems and standardized interfaces.
Interface Mode cannot be set by p2038, but rather by adjusting the telegrams in p0922:
● When standard telegram 20 is set, the "VIK-NAMUR" Interface Mode is permanently
specified (p2038 = 2). This relationship cannot be changed.
● When all other telegrams are set, the "SINAMICS" Interface Mode is permanently specified
(p2038 = 0). This relationship cannot be changed.

Parallel operation of communication interfaces
The two cyclic interfaces for the setpoints and actual values differ by the parameter ranges
used (BICO technology, etc.) and the functions that can be used. The interfaces are designated
as cyclic interface 1 (IF1) and cyclic interface 2 (IF2).
