Predictive text

The EATONI predictive text helps you to write:

◆

Text messages,

◆

Names in the directory,

◆

Names in the speed dial list.

Each key between

and

is assigned

several letters and characters

which all

appear on a

selection line

immediately above the softkeys (beneath the text area) as

soon as you press a key. When you are entering letters, the letter you are

most probably

looking for is

greyed

. This letter is at the beginning of the selection line and is trans-

ferred to the text area.

If this letter is the one you want, confirm it by pressing the next key. If the letter selected

by the EATONI is not the one you want, then press the

hash key

repeatedly until

the required letter appears greyed in the display line and is transferred to the text area.

Activating/deactivating predictive text

Predictive text is activated and deactivated according to specific functions. Even if you

have deactivated EATONI, e. g. when entering a name in the telephone, it is still availa-

ble for writing text messages.

Precondition:

You are in a text input field (text message, name in the directory or speed

dial list).
