Top and bottom mounting position

The 2D LiDAR sensor mounted centrally at the top can be supplemented by another
2D LiDAR sensor.
•
The mounting position of this 2D LiDAR sensor is ideally at the bottom on the
counterweight of the industrial truck.
•
Recesses in the counterweight of the industrial truck can be used for mounting. This
mounting position provides additional protection of the 2D LiDAR sensor from damage.
•
The beam exit of the lower 2D LiDAR sensor is horizontal to the rear.

The monitored area can be expanded by a second 2D LiDAR sensor. This provides blind
spot coverage compared to a single sensor solution.
•
In addition, objects protruding into the monitored area, such as tables or overhangs,
are detected by the lower 2D LiDAR sensor.
