TRAY SETTINGS FOR TRAY 1 TO 2
LOADING PAPER AND CHANGING THE PAPER SIZE
A maximum of 250 sheets of paper from size 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" to 8-1/2" x 11" (A5 to A4) can be loaded in trays 1.
A maximum of 500 sheets of paper from size 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" to 8-1/2" x 11" (A5 to A4) can be loaded in trays 2.

Pull out the paper tray.
Gently pull the tray out until it stops.
To load paper, go to step 3. To load a different size of paper, go
to the next step.

Push the pressure plate down, and
adjust the plates in the tray to the length
and width of the paper.
(1) Push the center of the pressure plate down
until it locks into place.
(2) The plate A and B are slide-type guides.
Grasp the locking knob on the guide and
slide the guides until the width that the
paper can be loaded properly.
When setting A4 size paper, set the 2 regulation plates with green color on the left side of the tray before setting the
paper. The plates are contained in the inside storage space of the tray (see illustration below).

Fan the paper.
Fan the paper well before loading it. If the paper is not fanned,
multiple sheets may feed at once and cause a misfeed.
