INSTALLING THE "AJ-6000 SERIES DRIVER"
Installing through "Add New Hardware" (Windows Me/98,
USB interface)
If the driver failed to be installed when connected by the USB cable and following the
procedures outlined in "Installing onto Windows Me" (page 27) or "Installing onto Windows
98" (page 28), or you want to reinstall the driver, follow the instructions below.

Make sure that the unit is connected to your computer.

Turn on the unit, and then turn on your computer.

Click the "Start" button, select "Settings" and then click
"Control Panel".

Double-click the "Add New Hardware" icon.

Click the "Next" button.

Click the "Next" button.
If "SHARP AJ-6020" window appears, click the "Next" button, and then follow the
procedure from step 3 in "Installing onto Windows Me" (page 27) or step 4 in
"Installing onto Windows 98" (page 28).

Check the radio button for "No, I want to select the hardware
from a list", and click the "Next" button.
The screen images in this section are those of Windows 98.
If the "Add New Hardware" icon does not appear on Windows Me, click "view all
Control Panel options" to view it.
