6.6.4 Relay Plan Tab
Requires the STI CNTL-100 option except for the first four (4) relays which are
duplicated at the front panel of the tester.
6.6.4.1 Relay Name
Double click to enter or edit a sort name. The name may be any combination of
alphanumeric characters up to eleven characters long. This name is for the
convenience of the programmer and is not part of the STI Test Program sent to the
STI Series 5000 Tester.
6.6.4.2 Relay Assignments
Double click to edit the relay assignments. An „X‟ specifies the relay to be asserted
for the assigned test. The first four relays are controlled at the front panel of STI
5000 Series Tester as well as in the CNTL-100 option.
Some device families (e.g.: 5 Pin Module) set the relay plan automatically when a
test is created or edited. If, for any reason, another relay is set or reset manually, this
manual operation must be re-done
every time the test is edited.
6.6.5 Extended Relay Plan Tab
Requires the STI EXT-
100 option. The “External” test step requires this option.
6.6.5.1 Relay Name

6.6.6 ADP-401 Scanner Plan Tab
Requires the ADP-401, ADP-401-8 or ADP-401-16 Scanner Adapter.
The programmed test steps are displayed along with the current settings of A, G, K
and Gnd pins. Double click on the desired step and set the pin assignments as
required for the device being tested. Refer to Appendix Q for complete details of the
ADP-401 Adaptor.
