6.6.3.5 Sort Name
Double click to enter or edit a sort name. The name may be any combination of
alphanumeric characters up to ten characters long. If used, this label is displayed at
the front panel of STI 5000 Series and used in the datalog results.
6.6.3.6 Bin
Double click to enter or change the sort logical bin assignment. Note: use the check
box to assign the sort to the Fail Bin (the Fail Bin is numeric 18).
6.6.3.7 Sort Limit
Double click to enter the sort limit.

An entry of “-1”, indicates that the sort is closed and will not be used for
sorting
 An entry of “0”, indicates that the sort is always open
 An entry greater than “0”, indicates that the sort will be open until the number
of devices tested that qualify to the sort equals the entry and then the sort will
be closed.
 Click on the “Reset Limits” button to set all sort limits to “0”.
6.6.3.8 Qualify Assignments
Double click to edit the qualify assignments. By default, any new test step entered
will have the Sort 1 qualifier set to Pass („P‟). Possible qualifiers are „P‟ for Pass, „F‟
for Fail and „.‟ for Ignore.
6.6.3.9 EOP/EOF Assignments
Double click to edit the EOP/EOF assignments. An „X‟ signifies a test to End on Pass
or Fail.
6.6.3.10 Multiple Bins
Specifies the multiple bin option. If checked, all valid sorts with a bin assignment are
checked and, if qualifying, the bin value is asserted at the handler interface.
6.6.3.11 Binary Coded Bins (typically used with probers)
Specifies the binary coded bins option. If checked, the qualifying bin is asserted as a
four bit value using Bins 1 through 4 outputs.

6.6.3.12 Binary Coded Sorts (typically used with probers)
Specifies the binary coded sorts option. If checked, the qualifying sort is asserted as
an eight bit values using Bins 1 through 8 outputs.
