3.2.4 Power Supplies and Transformers
115/220 AC voltage is connected from the power cord/voltage selector receptacle on
the rear panel to the power bus connector. Split winding primaries are used in all
power supplies and transformers in conjunction with a voltage selector switch to
provide 115 or 220 volt AC and 50 or 60 Hz capability.
There are three AC step-down transformers, supplying 30 volts to AC2 of the Lo
Source Board, 30 volts to AC3 of the Hi Source Board and 65 volts to AC1 of the Hi
Source Board.
The quadruple power supply located in front of the fan generates +5, +15, -15 and
+12 volts DC. Negative 12 volts is provided by U14 regulator on the Analog I/O
Board. The DC power supply has current limiting circuits and will shutdown in case
of an over-load or short. Overload circuits will reset on power down.

3.3 Test Sequence
A typical test sequence occurs as illustrated in Figure 3-2.
Variables include rise times of each power source; soak time, off time and sequence
of source application, among others. These variables are dependent on a number of
factors such as type of test and operator entered test limits; they are continuously
computed for each test using a set of stored look-up tables. Test time also depends
on these factors but is typically 15 to 20 milliseconds per test for mid-range values.
Test times grow longer at low and high-end current ranges to allow longer soak and
off times respectively
