Description

Sets or queries the duty cycle for square waves only. The setting is

remembered if the function mode is changed. The default duty cycle

is 50%.

Note

The duty cycle of square waveforms depend on the frequency

settings.

20% to 80% (

frequency

< 25 MHz)

40% to 60% (25 MHz <

frequency

< 50 MHz)

50% (

frequency

> 50 MHz)

If the frequency is changed and the set duty cycle cannot support the

new frequency, the highest duty cycle available at that frequency will

be used. A “settings conflict” error will result from the above scenario.

For square waveforms, the Apply command and AM/FM modulation

modes ignore the duty cycle settings.

Sets the duty cycle to the highest possible for the current frequency.
