2. An output trigger signal is generated by the R&S CMW500 in order to synchronize
external devices.
Input and output trigger signals can be routed to the bidirectional BNC connectors TRIG
A or TRIG B at the rear panel of the instrument.
To open the dialog press SETUP and select "Measurement > External Trigger".

Source
Source for output trigger signal. "No Connection" means that no output trigger signal is
fed to the trigger connector. Besides the list shows the input trigger signals fed in at TRIG
A (TRIG B) that you can use as output trigger signals at TRIG B (TRIG A).
Most trigger sources depend on the installed options. E.g. the ARB generator (option
R&S CMW-B110 A) provides several output trigger signals to synchronize external devi-
ces to a processed waveform file.

5.3.8 Logging
If supported by a signaling application, messages exchanged between the signaling
application and the DUT can be monitored. For this purpose all messages are sent to an
external PC (host) so that they can be monitored there. The "Logging" section provides
general settings, applicable to all signaling applications supporting message monitoring.
