2.2.13. Paper Size Selection
If there is an optional cassette installed in the machine, the paper size to use
is decided in accordance with the following rules.
•
If both cassettes contain the same paper size, the 100 sheet cassette
will be used.
•
If the received page has to be split up and printed on two pages, both
pages will be the same size.
•
If the cassettes contain different sizes, the paper size chosen for print-
ing the received fax message is selected in accordance with the follow-
ing table of priorities. The table assumes that reduction is enabled and
that the reduction ratio is 4/3.

The paper size priority is graded from 1 to 5.
•
S: The data has to be separated and printed on more than on page.
•
R: The data is reduced to fit on the printer paper.
•
Some of the reports can be printed on A5 paper without page separa-
tion. However, if only A5 paper is in the cassettes, reports that need
larger paper sizes will require page separation.
