4. Install the new development unit into the machine.

5. Install the drum and CTM, and check that the following points are con-

nected to frame ground.

Main motor bracket

•

Antistatic brush on the transfer roller unit

Initial Toner Supply
After installing a new development unit, do the following:
  1. Set bit 3 of RAM address 8003C1 to 1.
  2. Turn of the machine and wait for 10 seconds.
  3. Turn on the machine.
  4. The machine will supply new toner to the development unit.
