Connect-up the drive converter (refer to Section 3) and check the motor.
Connect the voltage, but do NOT power-up the drive converter.
Set the motor data via Quick-Setup
Note: If several operating points with various frequencies and voltages are specified on the rating plate, then the
operating point with the highest frequency should be entered as rated operating point. However, if operating points are
present with the same voltage, but different frequency, then the point with the lowest frequency must be entered as
rated operated point.
Power-up using the
"Start" button on the
operator panel.
Output filter?
In Quick-Step, set P0026 pulse
frequency to min. 8 kHz
Increase or decrease the
speed setpoint with the
"+" or "-" key on the
operator panel.
Operation via terminal strip.
Operation via the
operator panel.
Connect digital inputs 6 and 7 (refer to Section 3).
Prompted parameterization:
Drive converter control/setpoints: Changeover to terminal strip operation.
Caution: Either static or dynamic must be set in the "Test" and "Normal" operating
modes; different parameterization is not possible.
Thermistor protection PTC/KTY and setting the current limiting are selected under the
Functions menu item.
Standard terminal assignment:
In this case, terminals X14.2 to 4 can be parameterized as digital inputs or outputs.
Further, terminals X14.5 to 6 and X17.6 are available as programmable digital inputs.
The signaling relays or analog outputs are also parameterized in this menu item.
Note! If a setpoint potentiometer and the existing analog output are to be
simultaneously used, then an external power supply must be used for the setpoint
potentiometer.
