9 ADJUSTMENTS
9.6 SPEED LIMITER _____________________________________________________
The transport and mow speeds are factory set and should not need altering.
NOTE:
Textron Turf Care cannot be held responsible for loss of performance or machine damage if these
speeds are adjusted outside the speeds shown in the machine specification.
9.7 CUTTING UNIT ______________________________________________________
Refer to manual 23870G for all Cutting Unit adjustments.
WARNING
CUTTING CYLINDER TO BOTTOM BLADE
ADJUSTMENT
To ensure the cutting circuit has no back pressure.
The following procedure should be used.
1. Stop cutting cylinder rotation by putting con-
trol lever into the neutral position.
2. The units should be raised (to close the
diverter valves) then lowered and the engine
switched off.
The cutting units can now be rotated freely to
assist setting the cylinder to bottom blade.
