MULTI-FUNCTION GAUGE ________________________________________
WARNING LAMPS
A.
Charge warning lamp colour red, on when
ignition is switched on and will go out once
engine has started. If the lamp comes on When
the engine is running, the fan belt may be slipping
or broken or a fault in the electrical system is
indicated and should be investigated STOP
IMMEDIATELY.
B.
Engine oil pressure warning lamp colour
red, on when ignition is switched on, and will
go out once the engine has started. If the
lamp comes on when the engine is running
STOP IMMEDIATELY as this indicates that the
oil pressure is to low. Check the level of oil in the
engine sump and if necessary top up. Check oil
pressure switch. Continued operation may
cause extensive damage to the engine.
C.
Water temperature indicator colour red. The water temperature gauge indicates the engine coolant
temperature. If the temperature rises excessively, the lamp will illuminate and the horn will sound, check
the coolant level in the radiator expansion bottle and radiator. Also check that the radiator mesh screen is
clear of debris.
D.
Low fuel level indicator colour red, . The fuel level indicator illuminates when the machine needs refuelling.
E.
Glow plug warning lamp colour red, this lamp is timed on for a period of approximately five seconds when
the ignition switch is turned clockwise to the preheat position. Once the lamp has gone out the engine can
be started.
F.
Parking Brake, coloured red is illuminated when the parking brake is applied.
G.
Blocked Charge Filter, coloured orange. Illuminated when charge filter is blocked. Change the fi lter as
soon as possible to avoid hydraulic component damage.
H.
Service Required lamp, coloured orange will flash when a service is required.
