6 CONTROLS
NOTE: If the gauge reads over 210 bar (3045 psi) with the cylinders rotating but not cutting, this
indicates incorrect cylinder adjustment.
If the gauge is registering in the red sector, i.e. 210+ bar (3045+ psi) then the following action
should be taken:
a. Ensure cutting cylinder adjustment is set correctly with the bottom blade.
b. Increase height of cut.
c. Reduce forward speed.
d. Reduce width of cut by lifting one or more units out of work.
These checks should always be made in the order stated above.
6.4
FORWARD/REVERSE PEDAL (A ) __________________________________
Pushing down the top plate of the pedal moves
the machine forward. Pushing down the rear
plate moves the machine in reverse. The further
the pedal is depressed the faster the machine
will move. The pedal automatically returns to the
neutral position when foot pressure is released.
6.5
TRANSPORT/WORK SPEED CONTROL (B )
________________________________
Sliding the lever towards the front of the machine
limits forward speed to the max work speed and
allows the cutting circuit to be activated.
Sliding the lever to the rear of the machine,
allows the machine to travel at transport speed. Lever
operation illustrated by decal.
CAUTION
The foot should always be kept firmly on
the pedal to maintain full control of the
drive pedal
CAUTION
Transport / Mow Control Should be Either
Fully in the Forward or Fully in the
Rearward Position Before Commencing
Operation.
