AUTOMOTIVE FUNCTIONS ________________________________________
Analogue Display
A.
Charge warning lamp Colour red, on when ignition
is switched on and will go out once engine has
started. If the lamp comes on when the engine is
running, the fan belt may be slipping or broken or
a fault in the electrical system is indicated and
should be investigated STOP IMMEDIATELY.
B.
Engine oil pressure warning lamp Colour red, on
when ignition is switched on, and will go out once
the engine has started. If the lamp comes on when
the engine is running STOP IMMEDIATELY as this
indicates that the oil pressure is to low. Check the
level of oil in the engine sump and if necessary top up.
Check oil pressure switch. Continued operation may
cause extensive damage to the engine.
C.
Engine overheat warning lamp Colour red, this lamp will come on when the engine temperature reaches a
pre-set level. The vehicle horn will sound simultaneously. If the lamp comes on or the horn sounds STOP
IMMEDIATELY and investigate the cause. The lamp will come on during engine preheat for checking
purposes only.
Note: This warning lamp works independently of the engine coolant temperature gauge.
E.
Glow plug warning lamp Colour red, this lamp is timed on for a period of approximately five seconds when
the ignition switch is turned clockwise to the preheat position. Once the lamp has gone out the engine can
be started.
This warning light is also used to indicate a blocked charge filter.
MACHINE SWITCH STATUS
F.
Mow switch status indicator Colour yellow, on when the cylinder drive is engaged, off when the cylinder
drive is in neutral.
H.
Seat switch status indicator Colour yellow, on when the seat is not occupied, off when the seat is occupied.
Note: The engine can not be started if any of the machine status indicators are on. The machine status
indicators will continue to indicate switch status when the machine is being used.
