Button/LED
Description
Power button
Powers the DXi3500 system on or off. The
system can also be powered off using the
remote management pages (see
chapter 3,
DXi3500 and DXi5500 Remote
Management
).
Reset button
The reset button is not functional, see
“Rebooting the DXi3500/DXi5500 System”
on page 131 for information on resetting the
DXi3500.
Network ports 1 and 2
This LED flashes indicating activity on the
network ports.
Hard drive failure
This LED is lit when a hard drive has failed.
Look at the front of the unit to identify the
failed hard drive with an red LED indicator.
Power supply failure
This LED flashes with an audible alarm
when a power supply has failed. Look at the
back of the unit to identify the failed power
supply with an amber LED indicator.
Power on
This LED is lit when the DXi3500 is powered
on.
