5. Release the screw of the brake counter-holder

side of the bicycle with a screwdriver.
6. Release the axle nuts on both sides of the rear wheel with a
15 mm wrench.
INSTALLING THE REAR WHEEL
1. Use the shifting lever to put in the 1st gear.
2. Place the chain on the pinion.
3. Place the rear wheel into the drop-out. Ensure that the wheel
is placed straight in the holder and that the chain is appropri-
ately tensioned.
(see chapter Chain tensioning).
4. Apply the safety washer

on the left of the axle so that the in-
terlock is in the drop-out.
5. Push the washer onto the right side of the axle.
6. Attach the wheel with the axle nuts on both sides. Tighten them
with a 15 mm wrench (see chapter Torque specifications).
7. Attach the counter-holder bracket on the left side with the pipe
clamp screw connection

at the frame.
8. Push the switching pin into the axle guide on the right to the
stop.
9. Ensure that the 1st gear is engaged.
10. Push the switchbox onto the right axle nut as shown.
11. Fasten the switchbox with the lower attachment nut

12. Set the gear shift (s. chapter Gearshift).

SETTING THE GEAR SHIFT
1. Use the turning rotary handle to shift from the 1st to the 4th
gear.
2. Check the current shifting setting by looking at the two yellow
marks at the rear wheel hub (

). The gear shift is set correctly
when both marks are precisely opposite at the same height.
3. Adjust the gear shift by turning the black setting screw on the
rotary handle of the gear shift (

4. Check the correct function of the gear shift by shifting through
the gears several times.
