DRIVE SYSTEM
The drive system assists you whilst pedalling with additional motor power up to a speed of 25 km/h.
You can freely choose between the assistance levels at any time:
1. Select the desired assistance level with the Plus
107
or Minus button
111
before or whilst driving.
The LEDs
108
show you the assistance level you have selected. The higher the selected assistance level,
the greater the motor assistance. The speed to be reached depends to a large extent on various factors,
such as:
- total weight (including rider and luggage),
- tyre pressure,
- gradient or incline,
- condition of the ground,
- wind conditions.
If the pedals stop moving during the trip, the motor will also stop automatically after a short delay.
You can use the e-bike like a normal bicycle with switched off drive system or "0" assistance level (no
LEDs
108
illuminated).
DRIVING BEHAVIOUR WITH MOTOR ASSISTANCE
The driving behaviour of an e-bike with active motor assistance is sometimes very different from that
of a bicycle.
You should therefore adapt the assistance level of the motor to the outside environment (e.g. road sur-
face, traffic density, surface conditions), the speed and your own capabilities. For example, use either a
low level of assistance or no assistance at all when driving into tight curves or when driving at a low
speed.
PUSHING AID
With the pushing aid you can accelerate the e-bike up to a speed of no more than 6 km/h without any
pedal movement.
1. Stand on the left-hand side of the e-bike.
2. Press the minus button
111
until the top LED flashes
108
.
3. Keep the Minus button
111
pressed down until the pushing aid activates. If the button
111
is re-
leased prematurely and the pedals aren't moving, the motor then stops automatically.
KIDS LED DISPLAY
In the Kids version of the LED display, the assistance levels are reduced in power when the drive system
is switched on. You can increase the power of the levels at any time:
CHANGE THE ASSISTANCE LEVEL
1. Hold down the
107
and
111
buttons at the same time for approx. 3 seconds. To confirm the changed
pedal assistance, the LEDs
108
light up briefly in succession.
After the drive system is switched off and on, the power of the assistance levels is automatically redu-
ced again.
