SWITCH THE DRIVE SYSTEM ON/OFF
1. Insert the battery into the e-bike (see Battery chapter).
2. To wake the battery from sleep mode, press the button on the battery as needed.

PROKEY
The drive system of an e-bike with proKey function is locked or unlocked with the key.
1. Insert the battery into the e-bike (see Battery chapter).
2. To wake the battery from sleep mode, press the button on the battery as needed.
3. Keep the

button pressed briefly so that the proKey symbol appears on the LCD display.
4. Now hold the transponder key

(not the master key card!) against the sensor field on the left-
hand side of the operating unit.
The drive system is switched off by holding down the

button for approx. 1.5 seconds. This effectively
locks it against unauthorised access.
TEACH SPARE KEY
With the Key Card

you can teach a new spare key. Proceed as
follows:
1. Press the

button until the proKey symbol appears on
the display.
2. Hold the master key card

of the control unit. "CArd1" appears on the display.
3. Hold the first e-bike key against the transponder field

The key is coded and "CArd2" then appears on the display.
4. Now hold the second e-bike key against the transponder

Both keys are now coded and can be used immediately.
PROLOCK
For systems with the proLock function, the frame ring lock unlocks automatically when the drive system
is switched on. To secure it, press the lever down as you would with a conventional ring lock.
• If you mistakenly use the master key card instead of the transponder key to
switch on, you will not be able to use the key to switch on the drive system after­
wards. You must first " teach" the key again.

• Note that at least one of the keys will no longer work if you teach the key card in­
stead of a key. However, you can repeat the teaching procedure at any time and
teach the second key properly.
