INSTALLING THE PEDALS
1. Screw the right pedal on clockwise (right-hand thread) and the left
pedal counter-clockwise (left-hand thread) (

). Tighten the two ped-
als with a 15-mm open-faced spanner or, if this is to technically possi-
ble, with a 6-mm hexagon socket wrench according to the torque spec-
ifications (see chapter with torque specifications).

DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• Before every ride, check that the pedals are latched well.
WARNING!
DANGER OF DAMAGE AND ACCIDENTS!
• The pedals must be tightened well at all times since they may otherwise break
out of their threads! Therefore, check both pedals for tight fit before every ride.
• if the pedals are swapped during installation, the threads will suffer damage and
may break out of the pedal arm after a while! ­ No warranty if this is not obser­
ved!
