5.4 MSL-1M LINE MODULE
POLON 4500 control panels are permanently equipped with one MSL-1M line module (logical name -
MSL-1) supporting 4 loop-shaped or radial detection lines marked as L1 ÷ L4.
In the control panel, the MSL-1M module is located under the PPW-45 programmable O/I module (the
connected modules are presented in Fig. 5.4). The view of the uncovered MSL-1M module (after
removing the PPW-45 module) is presented in Fig. 5.3.
The MSL-1M module controls and operates the detection lines to which the addressable elements of the
POLON 4000 system are connected.
