Appendix A: Hardware Configurations

The cable required for this connection is not included in the miroVIDEO DC30
series package contents.

If you have not done so already, connect speakers to the audio output of the
sound board.

Function

The miroVIDEO DC30 series digitizes and compresses the input signal and
saves the signal to the hard disk.

The miroVIDEO DC30 series routes the output signal to the TV or video
monitor.

When recording video, the video is displayed on the TV monitor and the sound
is output to the speakers connected to the sound board.

IGITIZING AND RECORDING WITH THE

miroVIDEO DC30 series

AND A SOUND BOARD

To record digitized and edited video sequences in VHS quality, the miroVIDEO
DC30 series output signal is also routed to the VCR (this can be the same
VCR).
