Activation keys are not brought over during data conversion. You must supply the necessary activation
keys for the KX-NS1000 separately.
•
If the number of Slave units exceeds the maximum and the Slave data converter is run, an error is
displayed and the data will not be converted.
•
The IP address and subnet mask set for the MPR card of the PBX whose data will be used for a Slave
unit is not included in the converted data. The IP address and subnet mask for the KX-NS1000 that
will operate as a Slave unit must be set in the Easy Setup Wizard.
•
The numbering plan table is not included in the converted data. To use the numbering plan for a PBX
whose data will be used for a Slave unit must be added or edited individually in the Master unit’s
numbering plan table.
•
Trunk numbers, trunk names, and trunk group numbers are converted.
•
S-CO buttons for trunk numbers that were not converted are converted to L-CO buttons. (Trunk line
numbers may not be converted due to no corresponding trunk line or the deletion of the trunk line
number during the conversion.)
•
Trunk numbers are assigned in order, starting from the next largest trunk number in the original system
data.
•
DID numbers are set starting from the next largest number. If the maximum number is reached, any
remaining numbers will not be converted.
•
If the number of one-touch dialling entries exceeds the maximum, any remaining one-touch dialling
entries will not be converted.
•
Extension numbers that cannot be converted will be converted for another device or deleted.

SVM Voice Msg 1 and 2 are converted to the Unified Messaging channels 1 and 2 of the
corresponding Slave unit.
•
Only data from cards that are supported by the KX-NS1000 in a legacy gateway can be converted from
KX-TDE series, KX-NCP series, or KX-TDA100D PBXs.
•
Data for IP-EXT16 cards in a KX-TDE series or KX-NCP series PBX will be converted for use with a
V-IPEXT32 card in the KX-NS1000. IP-PTs that had been connected to the IP-EXT16 card must be
registered again to the V-IPEXT32 card in the KX-NS1000.
•
Data for IP-GW cards is not converted.
•
The registration information of PSs is not converted. You must re-register PSs after the conversion.
•
PBX voice data (e.g., ESVM, SVM, OGM) is not converted.
•
Data that is not supported by the data conversion is same as that in the procedure for Master data
converter.
•
The following group settings must be revised after data conversion for each site.

If the setting for "ISDN Standard Mode for PRI23 Card" is different between the conversion source and
destination, information for PRI23 cards will not be converted. PRI23 card data will be discarded, and
details will be recorded in the report. Refer to "9.32 PBX Configuration—[1-3]
