SIP Outbound Proxy port:
the port that the outbound proxy is
listening to.
Use SIP Registrar:
select this option to register with the proxy.
You can register your user ID on the SIP registrar. SIP registrar
works with SIP proxy, allowing other parties to call DSL router
through it. When this item is checked, the following field
becomes visible:
SIP Registrar:
the SIP registrar’s IP address.
SIP Registrar port:
the port that SIP registrar is listening to.
Default value is 5060.
Line Settings:
there are five options you can set:
Line Disabled
: Line number is a telephone port in DSL
router to which you can connect a standard (POTS)
telephone. If you checked this option, and the
corresponding line you checked is disabled. You can not
use it to initiate or accept any call.
Extension: this is telephone’s VoIP user ID used for
identification to initiate and accept calls.
Display Name: a free text description which is displayed to
remote parties as your caller ID.
Authentication Name:
the login name used for
authentication with the SIP proxy.
Password: the password used for authentication with the
SIP proxy.
NOTE
: If you have entered/changed the parameters on the
Web site, you must click
Start/Stop
to save the
parameters and start/stop the voice application.
4.6.2.2 SIP Advanced Setting
The advanced setting page contains those parameters that are
not usually used. In this page, you can configure advanced
feature, such as FAX and music on hold (MOH).
