which start signal is used. ON: IN2; OFF: START,

The start signal is effective on its rising edge.

External outputs are not possible while ENABLE OUTPUT is OFF. The
bit does not affect internal outputs.

The counter value and outputs are reset when RESET COUNTER is
set.
