4.4 Formulation
Use this application for compounding and recipe making. The number of components can be 1 to 100.
Formulation has two available modes of operation:
Free Formulation
and
Recipe Formulation
.
Press the
button until
Formulation
is displayed in the upper left portion of the home screen.
4.4.1
Free Formulation (default)
This mode of Formulation allows the user to freely add components. A recipe can also be saved and printed when
the formulation is finished.

Press the button corresponding to the
icon to
enter the Enter Component screen.
Select the list item and press the button corresponding to
the icon
,
to change the value as desired using
the alphanumerical keypad.
The item Name and target Weight are required to be
entered.
Press the button corresponding to the icon
to
confirm all the values and continue with the formulation.
Note:
The
icon will only appear when all the
required values have been entered (name and target
weight).
The entered target weight will be used as preset tare.
Place the required weight on the pan (add weight until the
displayed value reaches zero again).
Press the button corresponding to the icon
to
confirm the weight for the current component and to
continue adding other components.
