Function for uncontrolled left-hand/right-hand run-
ning
The function for uncontrolled left-hand, right-hand running serves
for testing twin axle trucks with common drive for the axles. The
function for uncontrolled left-hand, right-hand running can also be
operated in the passenger care mode.
!
The test instructions of the vehicle manufacturers have to be
observed.
The function for uncontrolled left-hand, right-hand running is
selected by the key
n
on the remote control unit (Fig. 4, item 67).
As a confirmation, the pilot light (Fig. 3a, item 17) lights up.
The roller sets can be started by the remote control keys
l
and
e
(Fig. 4, items 50 and 59) or by the keys
r
and
e
(Fig. 4,
items 51 and 59).
12.3.1 Sequence
The vehicle stands in the roller set. By this, the touch rollers are
actuated. If the roller sets are e.g. started by the remote control
keys
l
and
e
(Fig. 4, items 50 and 59), the left-hand roller set
is started first in the pre-selected direction of travel. After this, the
right-hand roller set is automatically started in the opposite
direction.
Analogously, the right-hand roller set is started in the pre-selected
direction of travel in case of starting the roller sets by the keys
r
and
e
(Fig. 4, items 50 and 59). After this, the left-hand roller set
is started in the opposite direction.

Description of the measuring system - radio pressure
sensors basic kit
Operating method of the radio pressure sensors basic kit
The radio pressure sensors basic kit (1 987 009 C1RN) is at your
disposal as a robust and precise sensor system helping you to
perform everyday measuring tasks quickly, accurately and easily.
It is a modern measuring equipment for acquiring pressure values
in brake systems of utility vehicles or trailers. The measuring
values are acquired by means of radio pressure sensors and then
transmitted on-line to a base station and are registered and
recorded there. The pressure pz on the brake cylinder of the axles
and the pertinent pressure pm on the coupling head of the brake
are simultaneously measured and registered. The measuring
equipment consists of a group of radio pressure sensors (PM,
PZ1, PZ2, etc.) with independent transmitters communicating
with a central receiver.
Each individual sensor has a pre-defined measuring task:
· Control pressure Pm
· Axle brake pressure Pz for axle 1, axle 2 or axle 3 etc.
All radio pressure sensors are based on the same basic module
and work with the same frequency. A number (see function, e.g.
„PZ1“) is assigned to the radio pressure sensors during works
configuration or during commissioning. All radio pressure sen-
sors can be identified univocally. A number once assigned can be
changed at any desired time. This means that a service technician
can reprogram a „PZ3“ sensor to a „PM“ sensor on site in cases
of emergency.
The following model configuration is based on the standard
assignment:
· 1 - PZ1 - radio pressure sensors for axle 1
· 2 - PZ2 - radio pressure sensors for axle 2
· 3 - PZ3 - radio pressure sensors for axle 3
· 4 - PZ4 - radio pressure sensors for axle 4
· 5 - PZ5 - radio pressure sensors for axle 5
· 6 - PZ6 - radio pressure sensors for axle 6
· 7 - PZ7 - radio pressure sensors for axle 7
· 8 - PZx - freely selectable assignment
· 10 - PM - control pressure
