10.2.1 Test sequence for towing vehicle
Testing axle 1
Drive the axle 1 into the roller set.
Wait for running up of driving motors.
Press the key
a
(64).
Slowly increase the braking force of the SBS.
The run-out is determined automatically, if a braking force of >
3,000 N *) is kept constant over a time period of > 7 seconds
(approximately 1 wheel revolution).
Increase the braking force until the automatic slip deactivation
reacts. If there is no slip deactivation, press the key
S
(58) on the
remote control unit. By this, the maximally attained braking force
is taken over into the computer.
Drive the vehicle axle 1 out of the roller set.
Disconnect the measuring line for the pressurek pz1 on the brake
cylinder of axle 1 and connect it to axle 2 (not necessary, if radio
pressure sensors are used).
!
In order to determine the pressure value by extrapola-
tion based on the guideline governing the official vehic-
le inspection, according to § 29 STVZO dated
29.04.1993, the following procedure must be follo-
wed.
Definition of of the input pressure of the sensors P
zn
by measns of the LCD display
- determine the roller resistance, then press the button
U
(62) in order to change to the display mode of
pressure sensors P
zn
- gradually increase the brake force up to the input
pressure P
zn
and confirm by pressing
E
(60)
Definition of of the input pressure of the sensors P
zn
without an LCD display
- Activate the drive motors and wait until the automatic
mode inidcation lamp stops to flash.
- gradually increase the brake force until the fingers of
the analogue dials start to move.
- confirm the value by pressing
E
(60)
