1. Press the
STAR
key until you reach the
SETUP MENU
screen, then press the
CHART INVENTORY
key.
2. Press the
LOAD/UPDATE CHARTS
key.
3. At the
CHARTS IN DATABASE
screen, press the
LOAD
CHARTS
key.
4. At the
SELECT CHART SOURCE
screen, press the
CURSOR PAD
to highlight the CD-ROM drive, then press
the
LIST CHARTS
key.
5. At the
CHARTS ON DISK
screen, press the
CURSOR PAD
to highlight the desired chart.
6. To mark a chart
LOAD,
press the
OPTION
key; to mark a
chart
DON’T LOAD
, press the
OPTION
key again.
7. Press the
LOAD CHARTS
key, and the
LOADING CHARTS
dialog box appears. To load charts marked
LOAD
into the
database, press the
LOAD MARKED CHARTS
key (or to
cancel, press the
CANCEL
key). If the CD and the chart
database have duplicate file names, you’ll have three
options to choose from:

To ensure that the chart database contains the chart(s)
with the most recent file date, press the
NEWEST
VERSION
key.
>
To always replace chart(s) already in the database, press
the
ALWAYS OVERWRITE
key.
>
To never replace chart(s) already in the database, press
the
NEVER OVERWRITE
key.
8. Press the desired key to start loading the charts (or press
CANCEL
to return to the
CHARTS ON DISK
screen).
After loading, the
LOADING CHARTS
dialog box provides
a summary of the total number of charts loaded.
9. Press
CONFIRM
to go back to the
CHARTS ON DISK
screen.
