Store as a waypoint dialog box
4. Use the
KEYPAD
to enter the new waypoint’s name (or
use the default name,
W0000
, which automatically names
these waypoints sequentially from
W0001
up to
W9999
)
.
You can use any characters on the
KEYPAD
. The name
can be from one to nine characters long, and must be
unique. To select a symbol for this waypoint, after you’ve
finished storing its coordinates here on the
CHART
screen, go to the
WAYPOINTS
screen and edit the
waypoint.
5. Press the
MAKE NEW WAYPOINT
key (or press the
RETURN
key to cancel).
The new waypoint is stored and the
CURSOR INFO BAR
appears, showing the navigation information about this
new waypoint.
To return to your vessel’s position, press the
VESSEL
key.
