Using
point-and-shoot
navigation
Often, point-and-shoot navigation is the easiest and most
powerful way of travelling to waypoints. This method also
gives you flexibility in deciding where to travel. Using the
CURSOR
key, this method lets you do any of the following:
•
select existing waypoints on the
CHART
screen and
navigate to them one at a time, or add them to the end of
your trip
•
create and navigate to entirely new waypoints (the cursor
locations), or add them to the end of your trip
Going to an existing waypoint
1. Press the
CURSOR PAD
to select a waypoint on the
CHART
screen, then press the
CURSOR
menu key.
The
SELECTED WAYPOINT
dialog box appears.
Selected waypoint dialog box
2. Press the
GO NOW
key.
The
CHART
screen appears, and guides you directly to
this designated waypoint.
