Creating a new route

You can create and store up to 1000 routes to the database. 
There are several ways to create and store a new route: 

•

graphically—on  the 

CHART

 screen—using the cursor 

•

as you travel—by saving new waypoints on any screen 

•

from existing waypoints on the 

ROUTES

 screen

•

by editing a copy of an existing route

•

from the trip log

Creating a new

route graphically

One way to create a route is to make a new route right at the 

CHART

 screen. 

To start creating a route on the chart using the cursor: 

1. On the 

CHART

 screen, press the 

CURSOR PAD 

to move 

the cursor to the desired location, then press the 

CURSOR

 menu key. 

The 

SELECTED CURSOR POSITION
