Recorder Hardware Installation
Installation Guide

Bridging Adapter:
A 25 pair bridging adapter is inserted between the
Succession Switch and the punch-down block that breaks out to phones.
This is the optimal solution.
Bridge Clips:
The second leg of the punch-down block receives a
duplicate PBX signal from the first leg through bridge clips. Depending
on the quality of the components, this method may cause mild signal
degradation.
Dual Punch-down Blocks:
The PBX signal is duplicated by wiring each
channel on the main punch-down block to a second punch-down block.
This solution is the least desirable method because punch-down blocks
can seriously degrade signal quality.
These three possibilities described in detail in the following sections.
