Nortel TDM Recorder
Analog channel hardware configurations
The following information appears on the Cards page when you select
General Setup > Voice > Channels
in the Recorder Manager if an Ai-
Logix Analog voice card is selected. Refer to “Compatible voice cards” on
page 98 for model numbers.
Field
Description
Checkbox
Field that will determine whether a channel has been selected
for use. Selecting the checkbox will subtract a license
channel from the “Available License” counter and vice versa
when a channel is unchecked.
NOTE:
For cards with a status
of Newly Added, all channels are checked (enabled)
regardless of whether the channel is licensed.
Channel
Number
Number of channel on the card (e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc.). Read-only
field
Channel ID Logical channel ID that will be used in the Unify mapping
table to identify Channel. This is a 6-digit serial number of
the recorder plus a 5-digit index number that is assigned by
the web service. Read-only field.
VOX
Detect
Level
Defines the threshold used for VOX-based call detection.
Units are in decibels. Required field.
CCE
Control
Options are Yes and No. Yes is the default. Required field.
The Nortel Contact Recording master recorder is an example
of a Cammand Control Engine. It controls when the TDM
Recorder records and tags calls by sending messages to the
TDM Recorder’s capture component. In this type of
recording configuration, the setting should be Yes.
