Nortel TDM Recorder
Uninstalling Recorder
Uninstall the TDM Recorder using Windows’ Add/Remove Programs
feature. Because TDM Recorder components were installed in two stages,
you must uninstall in stages. This means that you must uninstall Stage 2
components before uninstalling Stage 1 components.
ATTENTION! You should back up all data before uninstalling.
To uninstall the Recorder:
1
Backup all data.
2
In Windows, click
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
and
scroll to Nortel Contact Recording - TDM Recorder (Stage 2) and click
Remove.
Note:
You must uninstall Stage 2 before uninstalling Stage 1.
Tip:
If you have the default MSDE database installed, you will be asked if
you wish to uninstall the database. It is recommended that you do not
uninstall the database (unless it is damaged), as you will lose all data.
3
After Stage 2 components have successfully uninstalled (this takes
about 20 minutes), click
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove
Programs
again and scroll to Nortel Contact Recording - TDM Recorder
(Stage 1) and click
Remove
.
Note:
If the Install Wizard asks to restart the computer between stages,
click
No
when prompted to restart the computer.
4
After Stage 1 components have successfully uninstalled, click
Yes
when
prompted to restart the computer.
