hardware will typically consist of a patch panel and wire number, such as
“Out 1, cable # 25".

Media Channel ID: The identifier used by the TDM Recorder for each
channel. When changing the E1/T1 mode or Protocol value in the
Recorder manager the Media Channel IDs can change. It is best to
perform all configuration first then note down the Media Channel ID
ranges so that the Unify Mapping Table can be filled out correctly.

Switch Identifier: The name given to the Trunk Span on the switch's
native configuration program. For example, on Nortel switches it might be
“Loop 1".

Switch Trunk Group: The name given to the trunk group on the native
switch. This will be reported via the CTI interface. This will be used to
configure the Ai Logix NFAS Trunk Group.

Switch Trunk Members: The member names of the individual time slots
on each trunk span. This will be reported via the CTI Interface. For any
particular Trunk Span, there will be 23, 24, or 30 trunk members.

Switch Trunk Span Index: Identifies the order of the Trunk Span in the
Trunk Group. This will be used to configure the Ai Logix NFAS Trunk
Index.

Trunk Span: A single T-1 or E-1 line consisting of 23, 24, or 30 timeslots
bearing voice. It connects to the Ai Logix card using a RJ-45 connector.
