Sagittal measurement
The corneal peripheral positions are measured to calculate the eccentricity (values that indicate the
characteristic of the conic section).

After KM measurement, enter sagittal mea-
surement mode.

After KM measurement,
appears on the
screen.

Press
to display page

3)
Press
to enter sagittal measurement
mode.
4)
KM median values (the latest values when the
median values have not been obtained) are displayed on the screen.
5)
The “L (Left)” indication blinks and the left fixation lamp lights up.
Instruct the patient to look at the left fixation lamp.

Adjust the main body position.
1)
Adjust the main body position so that the target comes within the mire ring.
2)
Move the main body forward and backward to the position where the mire ring becomes thinnest.

Press
to start measurement.
The indication of the measured position changes to
“*”.
If measurement fails, “E” is displayed. In such a case,
press
and perform measurement again.
If “E” is still displayed, press
then measure “R
(Right)”.

Take measurements for “R (Right)”, “D (Down)”, and “U (Up)” in the same manner as
Steps 2 and 3.

When measurement for “U” is complete, or when
is pressed, the screen auto-
matically changes to the main screen.
To cancel the measurement and return to the main screen, press
.
• Keep the main body as stable as possible when performing sagittal measurement. Set the
parameter to “YES” so that icon
is displayed.
• Sagittal measurement is not available in supine position mode.
