Operating Procedure and Measurement Method
This section describes the operating procedures and measure-
ments common to all measurement modes.

Put the neck strap around the operator’s neck.
Holding the strap tight facilitates stable measurement. The strap also prevents the device from falling.

Turn on the main body.
The main screen appears.

Select the measurement mode.
Press
to select the measurement mode among R/K, R, and K.
Pressing
changes the mode in the order of R/K

K
→
R/K.
CAUTION
• When the device is being held for measurement, be sure to use the neck strap.
Accidental dropping of the device may result in injury or malfunction.

AR (refractive error) and KM (cor-
neal curvature radius) are mea-
sured successively.
Refractive error (S, C, A) and the
corneal curvature radius (R1, R2,
AXIS) are displayed on the screen.
AR (refractive error) is measured.

KM (corneal curvature radius) is
measured.
