Retroillumination image observation
This procedure checks for opacity around a crystalline lens.

Display the retroillumination image observa-
tion screen.

Retroillumination image observation screen is
displayed and the light intensity is automatically
controlled.

As necessary, adjust the light intensity man-
ually.

The light intensity automatic control is deacti-
vated.

Adjust the light intensity with the displayed up/
down buttons. (LIGHT: 80 to 200)
•
[L-UP] button: Increases the light.
•
[L-DW] button: Decreases the light.

Adjust the main body position so that the opacity is in focus and the alignment guide
mark is not prominent.

Press
to capture image.
•
When several images are captured, the last image is saved.
•
After image capture, pressing
on a still image changes the screen to the capture screen.

Change the eye to be measured (R/L). Measure the other eye in the same manner.

Press
to return to the previous screen.
• Keep the main body as stable as possible when capturing retroillumination images.
• When the
parameter is set to “AUTO”, to print the retroillumination image
together with AR and KM measurement values, capture retroillumination images before the AR and
KM measurements.
• When the
parameter is set to “IR (infrared communication)”, retroillu-
mination images cannot be printed.
